    Replacing Stereo in 2008 GX - Can I still use the Steering Wheel Controls?

    I was looking at replacing the stereo in my car, but I suspect that any replacement stereo I get will not be compatible with the factory steering wheel controls.

    Has anyone been through this? I would love to be able to use the existing controls with a new unit.

    The Dig_options stereo's (search pradopoint and ebay) allow the steering wheel controls to work
    2004 Prado GXL. v6 auto, ARB deluxe bar, exhaust, 2" EFS lift kit, Outback Acc rear bar,
    rallye 2000 spots, roof mount dvd, dig_options stereo, toyota roof bars.

      I did it with the missus 07 RAV4.........we got the extra plugs from WOW........unfortunatly they have now gone broke but they should be common.
