Toyota seat covers - leave a big stain

Get the new 150 tomorrow so last night started to prepare the 120 for trade-in. Took out the Genuine 3.5yo Toyota Seat covers to discover the foam lining had completely disinegrated and left some nasty brown stains in the velour seats. Have vacuumed most of the dust out and now I have to find a way of getting the stains out with no time to experiment.

What a bloody mess. I thought seat covers were supposed to protect the fabric. Not happy.

Obviously too many oops moments while traveling some of those hair-raising tracks methinks!!

So, what your saying is that the seat covers were never taken out and cleaned in the 3.5 years that they've been in the car? PHEW. Mine get a bath at least every 6 months just to keep the red dirt and dust out. Result is my 3 year old Bone interior is still like new.

Bathed annually. Dealer wasn't concerned as he's seen it all before. He wouldn't use them on his car (but don't tell anyone!).

maybe a good time to include the covers as a part of the deal
