  • A tricky one

Just bought the latest 4x4 Australia mag (nov edition) and the is a advertisment for the "Ultimate outdoors adventure show" on page 96.

If anyone has a copy can you identify the bullbar on the Prado in the picture?? I thought it might be a "smartbar", but I dont think they make them for the 03+ Prado. Maybe it is a steel Toyota bar fitted on a GX.

    Love to find out.

    bull bar

It is the steel toyta bar, i am assuming you are refering to picture of the prado with the guy lying on the bonnet. the polished soveriegn bar is just the same but polished alloy, much better looking.

      Thanks Hutch,

I thought it might have been but wasnt sure. Ive ditched the Sovereign bar from my order as all it was doing was pushing me further into luxury car tax territory. I plan to accessorise after delivery.

Yep - minimise your Luxury Car Tax.

Save your money for "maintenance" when you have to "replace a damaged bumper" with a bullbar. LOL!
