  • Folding the Middle Row of Seats

I am in the process of giving the vehicle a thorough clean after our last trip to the Flinders.

I have been trying to fold the middle row of seats and am having problem with the wider driver's side of the seat.

I pull the lever forward to fold the seat and to release the floor locks, and by the way the seat moves, it appears that the ouside locks release but the one on the passenger's side of the seat does not move at all.

I have tried levering the lock tongue with a screwdriver while another person pulls the lever forward but can't budge the tongue even after applying downward pressure on the folded seat.

    Any ideas?

Who said perserverance doesn't pay off?

Had another go and found that if I folded and lifted the rear of the seat at the same time, it worked.

Waiting until the seat is folded over before lifting doesn't work.

    Very strange.

I found this as well. Probably some sort of safety thing so you can can half fold the seats and not worry about then flying up/forward in an accident.
