How new does vehicle need to be for your salary sacrifice to work? I picked up a 2004 vx Prado petrol in immac condition for $21k. Has done 230,000 K's hence price but have heard that these motors will do 400-500,000 k's without much trouble. Having it put on lpg next week so running costs will be equivalent to a vehicle using 9l/100km. Heard these were good for towing also. Total cost will be under $25k. Would this age be too old. Jurgs

most leasing companies wont touch something with that many kms. the 2 main points are: 1) car cant be more than 7yo at end of lease and 2) cant have more than 200000kms at end of lease.
