What a SWEET ride she is, open her up and she purrs like a kitten. I like it when they do that!

I kept marveling at how damn frugal it is on gogo juice, I kept waiting for the tank indicator to flip on to 90L but it seemed to just keep going and going so I checked the Scanguage and sure enough the analog fuel gauge is not as true reading as one would think. When it was reading exactly half way the Scanguage reading said 94.6 litres, as soon as the Scanguage reading went to 90L the analog tank gauge switched over.

I will be doing the exact fuel consumption figures tomorrow but they are spectacular and what I was hoping to see.

I could not get over the amount of people who kept drooling over it at the different stops. One guy thought I was delivering it and wanted to know how he could get a job doing that.

The analog speedo is out by a factor of 5 km/h from my GPS speedo and by a factor of 7 km/h with regard to the Scanguage speedo. both those measurements meant the analog speedo was reading 120 km/h when I was doing 115 by the GPS or 113 by the Scanguage. This was standard throughout the speedo range.

Mav Mav Mav..... You lucky so and so! Sweet! Thats all I can say. If you'd come past me in that I'd be lining up for a drool as well. They look suspiciously like the Lightforce 240's you've got on the front there. Are they? I was contemplating them myself but thought they'd look ridiculous on the sovereign bull bar. However... your photo's now make me think otherwise!! Glad your wait is finally finished with. How does it feel to finally be behind the wheel??

G'day Iron-Paww, I feel like the luckiest bugger on the planet at the moment.

Yep those are the Lightforce Blitz 240's, in hindsight I think I would have preferred the XGT 240's as they have a better mount but these will do nicely. The old melt tar at 20k's jobies.

                    Hey Mav

                    You're a lucky guy ... 2 new arrivals in a month

I reckon the second one will wind up using a crap load more fuel that the first

                    Good luck with both.

                    Cheers

Is it just the photos or are your headlights black? Sorry if its been covered elsewhere but if they are I really like it.

With the standard tyres my speedo was reporting about 7 k's over at 120. With the 70's on it is spot on with the GPS. Interestingly though, the Magellan XL reports 1km faster than the Tom Tom... not sure why they are both 1sec refreshes.. anyhoo, I'll trust the Megellan.
