Middle seat belt removal ?

Hey Fella's,

Chucking on a new set of seat covers and wondering is it possible to to undo Middle seat belt in Middle row ??

The belt is in seat which makes it hard as it wont work with covers

Not a great idea to go removing the seatbelt, you simply need to buy seat covers designed for the prado, the generic ones are a pain in the backside to fit and never look neat.

Got it sorted, Didn't look at the cover properly, NOOB moment :P

We got a set of covers off ebay to fit prado, They are really quite good, just didnt look at the double seat.

Does anyone know how to get to the bottom of the 2nd row middle seat belt? I'm not 100% sure if it's twisted as it seems to come out the top fine but the latch plate is backward, so when you put the seat belt on the seat belt is twisted.

Anyone else had this issue?

First step is to tumble the seat forward.

Then go around the base of the seat and remove the Phillips head screws that holds the plastic trim. The bump stop may have to come off as well.

Remove the plastic trim which will then release the seat cover.

You should be able to see the seat belt anchor point.

I managed to get the plastic trim off enough to see the seat belt anchor point and it would seem there is no twist in the seat belt, however the buckle is definitely on back to front.

Does anyone have any tips/tricks to turn the buckle around so it faces the right way and doesn't twist the seat belt when used?
