          • LOL what a prick of a job. Think I'll stick to my old dial set up in the 120 at least I can get evap out in about 1/2 hour. Have you had to do the same to the 120's running climate air ?? Im presuming this is because its all put in from the factory been the duel climate air from late 07 in the 120's to current 150's......Cheers Steve

            • Haven't done any of the 120's Steve , plenty of kun26 hiluxs, would be pretty much the same amount of work , usually 6-8 hours depending on how many questions the apprentices ask me during the day

              • Priced a cabin filter on the Saturday from Toyota, $75. Don't know if they were taking the p!$$ because it was the weekend???A quick trip to Clark Rubber, handed over $4 and walked away with a filter pad ready to be installed. It amazes me what the mark up is on some genuine parts.

                  • They wash up pretty easily and dry in a couple of minutes in the sunshine. I would have washed mine around half a dozen times during my last 9000km trip.

I just asked for some low density foam for an air filter. Without hesitation, the girl said they sell specific air conditioner filter in low or high density and asked me with one I wanted. Once I had compared the two, I went for the lower density one to keep air flow at a higher rate. Hey at the price I paid, if I have to change it, it's not the end of the world.

                          • I didn't take any pictures b4 I installed the foam. I won't see the car again until Friday so I'll get one then and post it up.

                            • Also changed mine over on the weekend with a cabin filter from Repco. Could not believe the state of the old one which appears to have done its job perfectly over the years.

Bit worried about taking the glove box out but a simple squeeze on the sides and it was out.

Worth doing - didn't check the service book to see if it is ever scheduled or has been done (will check tonight).

                              Cheers
