Hi guys, Just wondering if there is a hand brake adjustment on the 07 diesel 6sm . My hand brake seems to come along up before stopping the car from rolling. Thanks Russell.

Remove the rear wheels and the rubber plug from the brake rotor. Get a fairly long, flat screwdriver and with the hole at the bottom of its 'rotaton' you will find a little, toothed wheel to turn inside the hole with the screwdriver. From memory up is tightening. Turn the litttle wheel a couple of teeth and check to see you can still turn the hub just the same. Repeat this till the hub is just nipped, then back the little wheel off about 3 or 4 teeth and re-check the hub. Should fel the same with maybe just the slightest dragging noise but no tightness to turn. Repeat on the other side and your done. :wink:
And then next time you go through mud and it chews the shoes away you can adjust it again! :lol: -

I was given a quote to replace the brake shoes and was told that there was no adjustment...

Thanks Matt, I will give it a go tomorrow.
