Hi All,

I know we have had the model line-up revamped but are there any rumours about a 120 replacement in 2008?

i believe 2009 is the consensus... a quick search will find many threads discussing this..

Yep - Ive heard 2009 also for the new model - thats one reason for a 12 month lease with payout at the end, so when the new 2009 Prado appears, I will be ready and willing.

Can't wait for the 2009 model, but also cant wait until my new 2008 GXL Prado turns up either. Should have around 30k km on it within 12 months, so whats the consensus of sale price after 12 months with little off-road use? Car will have all accessories listed below, and a few mods such as drawers and cargo barrier to list a few extras.

Hard to pick that one, Gordo (something about having crystal balls)

The config you have selected will enjoy the least depereciation - however, the new model may make a dent in resale, by virtue of the fact that yours will be the superseded model.

Other factors that come into play will be the pricing on the new model and how well received it is going to be - combined with the Prado's position in the sales charts (ie its popularity) - assuming that something else doesn't enter the market that is perceived as a better product (unlikely, but possible, I guess)

I think the resale value of diesel LC100's in the face of the introduction of the LC200 helps to give an idea. However, in that case, you had a long drought with the scarce/no availability of TD Cruisers in the period leading up to the release of the LC 200.

When you ready to sell post it on here, i would think someone would be happy to take a one year old D4D of your hands fully kitted out.
