'08 or '09 D4D Prado Engines which build date ?

Hi All,

I'm looking to get either a 2008 or 2009 Diesel Prados, from what I've read here Toyota have fixed the injector issues they had with the earlier D4D models.
Does anyone know what engine build dates are safe from these potentially expensive injector replacement ?

Suppose to be 08 BUT there people still having issues even with later ones so still an issue. Take out extra care warranty if possible to cover your arse. Make sure it's like the genuine warranty eg Toyota can only get this if you buy from Toyota. You may be lucky to purchase privately and the original owner has taken it out which is transferable...
