Colour Coding A TJM Snorkel

G'Day all.
I am after some opinions! I have just picked up my TJM Snorkel kit. My son-inlaw is a spraypainter who I am getting to colour code my snorkel to match my Prado (Metalic Silver) I have never seen 1 colour coded, neither has the TJM supplier I have bought it from.

Any of you guys ever seen a colour coded snorkel or what are your thoughts on me going with the colour coding?(Which I prefer over the basic black)

I also have a colour coded TJM Outback Deluxe Winch Bar. There is nor real black on the Prado so I thought the colour coded snorkel may look better. Stone chips will obviously take it back to the base black coating, but I guess I can just touch the stone chips up.

I will post some pics once its gitted.

There is a fourby I see around my place a bit with a color coded snorkle, come to think of it it might even be a prado. Anyone who drives up the Nepean Hwy through Mordialloc might have seen this car, its often parked on the beach side just south of the the bridge
Dave, you asked for opinions right? well in my opinion it looks terrible. its white on white. I tend to think the color coded bullbars look good, but for what ever reason the color coded snorkle doesnt look much chop.

But mate its your car, so really who cares what anyone else thinks?

Yeah Heath I also have finally seen a 120 with colour coded snorkel (white) didn't look to flash! I decided on the standard black plastic look and it blends with the roof cage and tinted windows well. Thanks for your reply mate!

My misses wanted our snorkel painted, I am so glad I didn't do it. I haven't seen one yet that I liked, and the paint doesn't last.

Getting my Airtec Snorkel colour coded and fitted up this Tuesday by TJM Brendale. SWMBO insisted that it be the same colour as our Prado so who am I to argue!
All I needed to do was get TJM to order it in with a Black Band Clamp instead of the standard Stainless Steel finish that is supplied for Toyota's! Why Airtec supplies the stainless finish instead of the black for other brands I don't know...

Had my TJM Airtec snorkel fitted yesterday! I think I am glad I didn't get it colour coded silver!
It looks pretty schmick in black and matches the dark tinted windows and window trims.

As craigm noted! wtf do they not do the worm clamp in black? Surely its possible. Looks great until you see that stainless clamp under the head.

Would love to see some pics of yours colour coded craigm. What colour are you doing it?

Craig's Prado is black, so his snorkel was colour coded out of the box

That's understandable, the big picture of his black Prado in his signature is easy to miss
