Hi Jase,

I just thought if it was an engine mount causing symptoms it would rough idle all the time.
The last time I had these symptoms it was 2 injectors, now they say injectors all good, possible engine mount prob, but they said mine has the up date mounts fitted?? I have Factory Ext Warranty otherwise I'd go elsewhere.

Like you Steve, I expect it to happen at all times not just when its cold. Every winter my rough idle appears. Car can sit overnight outside and usually the first traffic light i pull up the idle is erratic... Also had the injectors checked and they are still good (just past 100K's).
I believe that the mounts are controlled via a vacuum pump - they should be able to test the mounts if the problem is replicated in the workshop, and my sanity is restored at lights by placing the transmission into N and back to D which most times temporarily resolves the issue.

Sounds exactly like mine Jase, mine garaged all nite, but 1st traffic lights 3mins away & car shakes, but sometime it does it when it's warmed up too.
i will push for result, but still have over 2 years ext warranty, so if it self destructs i should be covered
