What is use of the "2nd start" button found just under the steering wheel?
Sorry for the noob question

The button is exactly what it says '2nd start' the car starts in second gear instead of first. Helpfull in really slippery conditions like snow and ice.

If you can't fix it with a hammer...... you have an electrical problem.

        I understood it's real purpose.

If you needed the rear diff locked, then you had to go into low range.
By pressing the 2nd start in, you would pull away in 2nd, then auto change into 3rd etc.
If you pulled away in 1st, then the change to 2nd is quite severe, and this can put additional strain onto the drive.
By pulling away in 2nd, this minimised the jerk into 3rd.

I hope this all makes sense.
