    Just purchased 2008 prado gxl - missing owners books

    Hi,

    Just wondering if anyone can help me - we have just purchased a second hand 2008 prado gxl, and seem to be missing some owners books. We have the owners manual and the service book, but cant find any information that relates to the audio player - does anyone know if this was a separate book and where we can get a copy? If anyone has the same vehicle, and still has a copy of all of the original books that came with the vehicle, would they be able to take a photo of them and post them up so we know what we are missing. Thanks

    Yes it's a separate booklet, I'll get a pic and post it in a while. I guess you could get one from Toyota.

        Shall I copy radio my book for you? A particular topic you needed, bluetooth?

        I was lucky the past owner never set up the radio code. I pulled mine outa the Prado and put it in my wifes 2006 Corolla, it didn't ask me for a code, lucky me

            OK, wife had the Prado for work today so I'll do that tomorrow for you. She leaves at 3am and unless I'm awake to stop her she 'steels' the Prado, bloody women, hehehe.

                Peril, let me know if you need any pages scanned. Also I see your previous 90 series prado had a 1HZ in it? You mean 1KZ right?

                  Um, do I, possibly got confused after sniffing 30+ years of Diesel fumes? The 3.0L Turbo what ever that was.
