4X4 Dash light

My dash light does not light up in in high range or low range when engaged, it is definately going in as you can feel it when turing especially in low range, any solutions before I take it to a dealer, thanking you Friar.

Search google+dash light and some other variants, has been covered before. Usually a loose connector.

Its actualy the sender unit on top of the tranfer case. Its on the drivers side right at the top of the case towards the back. You will notice it by having two wires coming out of it. Disconest the wire loomb to see if the terminals are ok, if not give it a clean up and see if the light works then. If not remove the sender unit using a 24mm spanner and give it a good clean in a solvent. Once clean and dry put it back and it will most likely be ok. Mine has had this problem on 3 occasions now.
