Hi everybody after a three month wait (to the day) my Black D4D GXL is
here and in my garage .I have been reading posts and waiting with so much anticipation and can now enjoy what so many of you are enjoying also. woohoo time for some fun.

Hi everybody after a three month wait (to the day) my Black D4D GXL is here and in my garage .I have been reading posts and waiting with so much anticipation and can now enjoy what so many of you are enjoying also. woohoo time for some fun.

They say jealousy gets you nowhere - Except in a brand new Black Prado. Good on you BlackD4D, enjoy your new ride.

I ordered mine 11 December 2007 so its still another 2 months away with an anticipated build date of February and a delivery date of mid March..........!. Not sure if this will be the case because if it is to be built in February, I would assume Toyota would know at least a month in advance which vehicles they are building the following month.
I am thinking I will have to wait until mid April instead. I checked Toyota tracking details today (19 Jan 07) and it has "Planned production month: Still to be confirmed".

Ive had mine for nearly 3 weeks and done 3000Kms already, ive just got back from an outing with Chippy and 7 other W.A Pradopointers from down south and i gota tell ya its hard to leave it in the shed :lol: :lol: :lol:

Little Beauty Black D4D, Awesome looking Truck.

We picked ours up today, then drove it straight to tyre dealer for the 265/r70/17 Cooper ST's, had to fit washers to back door to get spare back on...next week booked in to ARB for the rest of my Goodies.

Heres my Disco with all the trimmings on w/e in Vic High country, now traded on my new D4D GXL Auto.
Had over 5 years use out of it, but the Prado is much more appealing & hopefully tougher.
