G,day to all

I am new to the Toyota family with me just ordering my 1st being a new GXL T/D and I am eagerly awaitng on our new purchase. I have noticed some people have have listed their accessories to be fitted and noted that you can fit an indash turbo timer, and I was wondering is this an after market accessory?
By the way this seems to be a great site and look forward to exchanging ideas and the like.

Hi D4.
I dont think toyota have an OEM timer. Just says in the manual "After hard acceleration or towing let motor idle before switching off" or something along those lines.
I have an ARB turbo timer. so only know about that brand.
Easy installation. Its plug and play. Pull a few covers off below steering column and look for a big white plug coming down from ignition switch. The turbo timer has the same plugs as toyota. Unplug the original, the turbo timer just goes inline so you plug the thing in the only way it can fit, M-F M-F, mount your timer where ever you want and presto, a turbo timer.
