  • Prado from 4wd action

Who knows the story of Darren mcpierce (forgive my spelling) i see on 4wd action on face book there is a pic of his prado he calls predator with what looks like his bar has torn off the chassis?

I asked the question on there as so did alot of people as to what happened, being this site knows of almost every decent prado on Aus i thought I'd throw the question out there to see if there is something i can learn from it..

Im happy to be told to mind my own business but im curious as to what went seriously wrong.

    Darren's reply on facebook:

Darren M PearceThis is what happens when you side swipe a low flying hi ace van ,the corner of my bar hooked into his side door and flipped him over and ripped the end off my shazzie and yes all the parts have been used on my new rig

Mmm didn't see that on there, dam it was a nice truck before that happened

Was wondering if it happend as a result of snatching or winching, but obviously not

The HiAce must have been flying to rip the front off like that. Good to see that he could use all his good bits again though.

Hes uploaded a few pics of it on facebook. Made a bit of a mess of it! Shows the front of his truck and the hiace on its side too.

He didn't use all the parts. I did buy his cargo barrier off him but at the time he had his bash plates, part of the bulbar and other bits and pieces for sale as well on ebay. He ripped the snorkel off the one that was written off and was using it for the new one. Not sure wether he did or not. He does some pretty hard core stuff. Very nice bloke and had his new 120 decked out really well when I saw it. He certainly doesn't baby them...He went from the petrol to the diesel this time round. Cheers Steve

what are his eyes are painted on. Typical NSW drivers if you cant see cars in front of you or side on you shouldn't be driving. should of taken his head out of his Ass.

Bit Abrupt their 74Damo, yes he obviously wasn't paying full attention but also maybe the van was travelling well in excess of the speed limit and possibly his reason for miss judging the speed the van was coming at him. Either way that's why there called accidents. And as far as typical NSW drivers goes, having done truck driving I've seen some dickheads from all states both men and woman where I wonder where the hell they got their license from. "" should of taken his head out of his Ass."" uncalled for........
