Possibly a blocked Aircon drain? Poking something up the hose may clear it for awhile but you will need to clean it all out properly.
PS confirm it's not hot water from the heater hose as well.2[FONT=Arial Narrow]008 Prado GXL D4D Auto with Prado Pack

+1 above. We had this problem in our 120 series and it turned out to be a blocked airconditioner drain. I got under the car with a length of coathanger wire and found the rubber drain hose under where the glovebox would be. This was blocked with dust, crud, spiderwebs etc and a bit of a jiggle with the wire cleaned it out.

So I am guessing those affected were not seeing any dripping water underneath the vehicle when running the air con then?

Just be careful rjg when using a piece of wire, I have seen people do this and pierce the evap with it (was on a corolla so its possible I presume in the prado). Better of just using a long cable tie and shove up there, this way no chance of damaging the evap.....Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

shodown my wifes car was blocked but still dripping a tad on the ground, but obviously the evap was producing more water then what could get through the hose. I got about 300ml out of hers but I heard it sloshing around in the evap but buy then it was starting to drip on carpet as well. I was going to put a filter in hers like I have done with the prado which will catch a fair amount of crap, but going to sell it soon anyway so gone for 6 years now without one, don't see the point in outlaying for a filter now.....Parking under trees and shit is the worst thing as they end up down in the aircon system which is 9 times out of ten what blocks them up in the first place.......Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. Im not sure with the prado as I havnt had to unblock mine but the wifes car I can pull the carpet back a tad on passengers side and the hose is just there on the hump so I pull the rubber hose off from the evap outlet (pulls off easy from the fitting) and I can actually see it better and see what crap comes out.....Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No probs mate, I never had this problem myself but I had read about it on PP.
One to look for in the humid Tropics particularly.
