Low range 4x4 dash light

Hello everyone,

I believe there is a dash light that comes on when you shift to low range? Any thoughts why it wouldnt be working? is there a sensor or something!

There is no low range light but there is a centre diff lock light. Did you mean that one?

Thanks for your reply. Ah ok that may answer it. Mine is an auto so i can shift to low range and no light comes on, until i hit the seperate centre diff lock button then that light comes on. Just thought its crazy it doesnt have a light to tell you your in low range..

Hi my prado is an 04 gx. It definitely has a lo light that comes on when engaged. Fyi. Cheers boyce

Yep thats right Troy, all is good with your prado mate!

No light for low range, you will feel it as soon as you take off though.

Apologies all. Will have to do what no politician ever does and backflip on this one. I made a mistake. It's obviously too long since I have been in low range!

hahah Thanks guys.... Thinking back a while ago when i used a torch to sus out the dash lights i am sure there is on that says 4x4 or something like that... I guess it isnt hooked up...
