  • Origin of the Name Prado

    I read this in a Toyota Prado development manual. Forum may keep it for records.

    'The English words “Land” and “Cruiser” are used to signify a vehicle with the majestic power and luxurious comfort of a great cruise liner, for which no terrain is impenetrable. “PRADO” is a Portuguese word meaning “Prairie”.'
