Gripes - Look at the Bright Side to Life - Maybe not the Sovereign Bar Standard Lights

    Hey Lads and Ladies,

I used Aluminum Polish on the lights, worked great, however but not so good on the sovereign bar. That purple stuff is not as good as they say. (Bar Only)

My gripe is the fog, Parker and indicator lights on the sovereign bar. They are rubbish.

Also the on this point is the dash cracks, surely if an air bag explodes it has to send unnecessary particles along with it, that could take someones eye out. (Health is a very important thing) "Bad Toyota" - Just fix it fools, surely you have had enough complaints and you are you have decided to leave Australia (Reputation and Word of Mouth is a very strong thing, that if done right will promote great sales, now and in the future) - again "Bad Toyota" it is leaving a sour taste with many owners.

And finally last point the Prado 120 is a great car so everyone get out and enjoy it and it is not a soccer mum car, that some other may refer to it as.

    Cheers

If I had to tell them one thing.... The nav system in the 150 altitude is a dead set disgrace. Rip it out and put in an iPad.

Give Mother's Aluminium polish a go on the bar. Comes in a little white tin, my bar came up blindingly shiny.

Also the indicator / parking light combo is available from Narva and is quite inexpensive. I snagged a pair off ebay a few weeks back for $25.

Yep I've got a 120 and will be fitting a switch as I think it is essential.

                  A few things:
                  1) NEW DESIGNERS!!! the facelifted 150 series is hideous as fk

                  2) develop new engines and trannys. Their stuff are good but are just too outdated for these days. Can't believe they're still selling corollas with 1.8L 4 bangers and 4 speed trannys. :?

They almost look too big on our roads. I saw (and admired) a Sequoia a few times in Austria and it was massive. Not to mention that a fully specced model costs around $60k US, compared to our $100andwhatever thousand LC200...

That's true. They are sized for the larger Americans though.
There are very few Tundras on carsales that I've seen while looking around on there with the price of about + 120k. They are the full spec Platinum models too so I guess the price makes sense. The current 200 series Sahara is now about + 120k as well

I was actually driving home from work today and was following one of these Tundra - first time I've ever seen one, a white one with the "Performance West" dealer sticker on it , who sell them here in WA, Nice, felt wasn't too big compared to the late model F150

Found their link - have a 2012 model, 67km on the clock $109,000 plus onroad..., that's before you start adding to it, new tyres, bull bar etc etc etc...

                              http://www.performancewest.com.au/li...ra-double-cab/

Actually the one I saw was 4 door - $130k plus onroad

                              http://www.performancewest.com.au/li...tinum-crewmax/

My only gripe is also the cruise control on the Auto - any slight incline 4000rpm here we come ...

                                The one thing:
The Sunroof ("Moon"roof) needs a mash underneath to protect from glaze and a windshield to protect from noise. Look at Mini Cooper. I use the sun roof in my Mini 95% of the time when the temperature allows it, no glare no noise. By the way the Mini sunroof is a double. I would love to use the moonroof a fair bit, but it's almost unusable, even small opening produce a fair bit of noise.

Other than that the Sat Nav is a nuisance, the fake leather of inferior quality although regularly taken care of. The 3rd row should be removable. Ah, and choice of mud tyres for the 18" wheels.
2010 Kakadu. TJM T13 bar, TJM 9500lb winch, FJ Cruiser 17" rims with 265/70R17 Coopers S/T maxx, 40mm lift, Dobinson's C59-726, Bilstein shocks, Airtek snorkel, Recovery points, Brown Davies bash plates, TG150 transfer case guard. Rhino Pioneer Platform SuperPeg Rear Awning. Drifta Drawer System, Cargobarrier. Optima dual battery. GME UHF, Sandgrabbas.. ARB 47l fridge freezer.
