G'Day,
Brand new here and really like this site.
I just picked up my new Prado today and am very impressed.
I have converted from Patrols as I have had a gutful of living in the Cretaceaus Period.
Can't wait to see how it goes in the scrub.
I can't believe how quite it is compared to my old
Patrol!!
Anyway, thought I'd just drop a line.

Welcome Dono and congratulation on buying a good softroader. Unfortunately, a prado will never be in the same league as a Patrol in the scrub. I know because I have owned and driven both. Fortunately, the Prado has a better all rounder package.

Hi Dono, How right you are I sold my diesel pootrol after I brought the Tojo no comparison, I recenctly drove a new pootrol Auto diesel for 400km's yuk, no comparison accept little less space internally.

I too am a Former Patrol Driver. I had a 03 Patrol 3.0L Diesel ST Wagon.

What colour is yours? Dune??
