  • Whats this for ?

Was changing my rear rotors today and i noticed this hanging down.
Drove me mad looking for where it was suppose to connect up to.
Then i spotted the same thing on the opposite side ?
    Its on a 2005 Grande.
Sits up near the top mount of your shock
Is there an option that we dont get in AUS ?

Correct me if I am wrong, But I believe that is for the TEMS (Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension) shocks on the Grande. You must have aftermarket shocks or they have been disconnected.

All that time Graz and you have been adjusting your shock settings and thinking to your self, "doesn't seem to make much difference" lol..... As mentioned either been disconnected for some reason, a fault, or as mentioned above running after market shockers...... Cheers Steve

Lmao. You are right on the money there Steve.
Thought the soft to sport adjustment was a bit crappy.
Not sure what the previous owner did there then.I bought the car in 2010 and as far as i know it was all standard.
I only put a lift on it 3 months ago so i would assume it was disconnected then ?

I would say so. Would have thought your installer would have informed you that the rear shocks etc would no longer be controlled from the controller inside the vehicle etc ??? Anyway you have had no problems so that's a good thing lol. You can just turn it and imagine it going from hard to soft !!!... Cheers Steve
