  • Air con / heater controls (windscreen / foot areas)

    Hi
My controls for the heater / air con do not make the air go down on my feet, the air just comes out of the face level vents. Anyone know how I can fix this?

    Mate,

if you're feeling adventurous check out the connections at the end of the cables that the dials

pics in my stereo install 8th and 9th ones down.

and the one of the many bolts you need to undo to get to it is the 7th pic down...

though if the dials turn then these guys probably won't be the prob, if they're not connected properly then the dials won't turn...

It may also pay to note if your vehicle has climate control or standard dials for the climate control system..

2003 GXL so no climate control. Sometimes it's nice to have cold air on my feet so I guess I'll have to take it apart :-(

            can you turn the dials?

or it may just be something as simple as the black plastic bit that directs the air is not there so it's just cooling the steering column...

Dials turn OK but it makes no difference to where the air goes (it always goes uphill)
