  • Prado 3door into United States

    Gentlemen

I have been told that unless the 3-door Prado I want has a 17 digit-VIN number I cannot bring it into Puerto Rico, a US territory surrounded by PRADO friendly islands. It has to be a 4.0 gas engine as the D4D and newer diesels hve not been US approved.

I have a Lexus GX and a TRD special edition FJ Cruiser but would unhesitantly and undoubtedly change each one of them for a 3-door PRADO.

Short of embarking in major surgery of the FJ and converting it into a PRADo (can be done!!), where is that 17 digit PRADO beauty I m looking for?

I can;t wait to read what youy have to say.

To bring any vehicle into the US it has to be a MINIMUM of 12 years old to be exempt from SMOG laws.

I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser (An American knock-off 120) Considerably built up.
