Where (& how) did you mount it?
I have just bought mine but don't know where I'll fix it.
    Cheers

On top of the steering column using the supplied Velcro strips. This enables removal if you want to take out and use on another vehicle.

      • Had a big week for the 120!

ARB deluxe bar fitted. Came in a grey colour, which was a surprise... but looks almost colour coded next to the charcoal 120!
Also rear air locker and underbonnet compressor went in.
Breathers fitted to Diff's and Transmission.
Fitted my Bushskinz front/sump and transmission guards.
Fitted my AMTS Recovery points on the front.

Starting to look like a real 4x4 now.

Tested it out with a day trip to Fraser. Fully loaded with 6 people... found the suspension lacking... not entirely surprising.

Finished up with a big clean out of sand in the engine bay... time for the lift. Booked in for a week thurs. That's it for the majors! Credit card needs a break...

Be time to test out Glasshouse mountains once the lift is in... looking forward to breaking off my sidesteps...

I run with volts, water temp, litres/100km and speed. Voltage drop can alert to alternator issues long before the little red light comes on. Mines bouncing between 12.5 and 14.5 at present due to some nasty Tassie mud. The water temp shows the rise when towing up hill or beach driving and can let you know when it's good to down shift a gear to let the trans cool off. Fuel usage will also identify any pending injector issues (high consumption when running constant speed). I find the digital speed readout easier to focus on than looking at the needle because the details are right in front and together. The trip menu is also good to monitor as well as the error code recording.

            • ATF Temperature is a good one to watch also. You have to enter a certain code for it, though.

Will do. I'll snap some tomorrow. Will get it up on the lift to show the plates and recovery points bolted on.

This will hopefully cure the cold start knock that has come back after only 30000 km.

That's awesome Ben! What suspension did you end up going for?

                          • Went for Old Man Emu. Opted for softer springs in rear as it's usually unladen. Can always beef up with airbag inserts if needed in future...
Suspension goes in a week thurs.

                            • Just semi installed my bilstein/kings lift today. I still can't fathom how awesome this thing looks

Couldn't install the rear bilstein shocks tho because I just can't get them out and I don't have much upper body strength still happy with results.
