Where did you buy it from and where does it go exactly. My old fg falcon had tap turn indicators and would like this function on the prado

Whilst I'm waiting for the parts to fix the alternator bracket I welded the old bracket with the mig. I also changed out the water pump with the new one I have had sitting on the bench for last couple of years. Figured I may as well do it while all the other bits were out of the way. Now I have to get some new coolant.Dave

Did you just change the water pump impellor or the whole kit and caboodle? I recently did mine and went into it thinking I had to remove the timing belt etc and was pleasantly surprised you only need to replace the front component which is only a hand full of nuts.....2007 120 GXL D4D 6sp Man

It just replaces the factory turn signal relay which is clipped to the back of the in dash relay box. I had to break off a bit of my relay box to clear the key barrel. I might do a write up on it when I can if no one else has.CANYONEROOOOO *whipping in the distance*

I also washed the air filter box and scrubbed the air-box to turbo rubber hose. Amazing how much brown scum was inside the tube. Also cleaned out the snorkel to air box hose and the little rubber catcher under the filter box. Now, that was disgusting. Got the new hoses for the turbo to inter cooler and inter cooler to throttle body too. This car won't know what's hit it when it's all back together.Dave

Drove all over town today to get a tap to fix the thread in the alternator/compressor bracket. Took less than 15 seconds to do the job. All back together now. I hate that accessory belt. What a bitch when you have to climb up onto the radiator to fit it. Anyway, 14.1 volts now. Sounds happier with all new rubber inter-cooler pipes and new gasket/sealer goo on the snorkel to airbox pipe. Just got to fiddle about getting the coolant level right but job's done. 3 days of rooting around just to change the alternator. I need a beer now.Dave
