      • Single locked, i had existing drivers door damage from another track so i figured "why not"
and managed to do it with all but a bent exhaust tip and popped out rear bumper.

        • Fitted some high temp lock nuts as I lost the nuts holding the dump pipe to the exhaust this morning. Lucky it was an easy fix as the bolts are welded in on the Genie dump pipe. It happened in the CBD during peak hour this morning, sounded like a tractor and had no torque.

          • 150,000km So changed oil and filter and pumped grease into the propshafts.

Strange thing is, I only got 3.2L drained from the engine and filter. Where did the other 2L go? Pretty sure I normally slightly overfill it as well and the leak at the timing cover plate shouldn't be leaking as much as 2L... Something is leaking power somewhere

            • Did you warm the engine first?

What was the level on the dipstick before you drained it, and has the dipstick level changed since you last filled it?

              • I always change my oil on a cold engine. It's amazing how much oil sticks to the internals when warm.

i did the oil change after grocery shopping with the rents. I did leave it to cool down for about an hour.

Before i I drained it, there was not much oil holding onto the bottom of the dipstick. As said in my last post, I always slightly over fill it so it was just above the top dot when I filled it.

I usually do it that way too. Normally during the weekend after the car sat overnight so all the oil is in the pan.

Castrol magnatec or whatever oils that advertise itself sticking to the internals isn't good for warm engine oil changes eh

                        If you're referring to wsp's post, I think they are AJ120's sidesteps/sliders.
