      • Pulled the drawers out, put the rear seats back in, changed over the lightforce genesis lights for some Nerva ones I had sitting around, removed the MSA fridge slide and seat covers etc, yes we have traded the prado in on a 200 series Altitude and wanted to save as many of the "toys" as possible. Pick up the 200 on Thursday

        • Sweet, you will love the 200. I wish I had the $$$ for one, there my favourite. My wife's boss has one, has chipped it, exhaust, long range tank, brush bars, bullbar, rear bar with duel wheel carrier etc has spent a bit on it. Goes well, and he loves it, done some big klms in it. Sounds awesome with the exhaust he put on it, sounds like a boat lol.....Good luck with the new one....Cheers Steve

Bloomin heck that's a fair stint. Most I've done was 12.5 hours. Last three were awful and I was 10 years younger. Don't envy you that. Hope it was worth it

                    • After eating a chicken parma at the Caltex Mt Magnet road-house I was even considering carrying on and driving straight through to Perth but the old cheese wouldn't have been happy with me knocking on the door at 1am. First 300km out of Broome was thick fog.

                      • In my youth (army days) I did Bris-vegas to Perth in 36 hours. No drugs, no no-doze. That was 35 - 36 years ago. And I did this last trip with not even playing any music or running the radio. One up, no missus. Hmm, I might need some help.

                        • I did Melbourne to Noosa about 30 years ago. Scariest bit was around Goondawindi just before dark. Roo migrations. Oh and cresting a hill in western NSW at a decent rate to find the entire next straight was all white, full of sheep!

There is very little difference in weight between the steel and alloy rims. Genuine steel rims are available cheaply from your local dealer.
