Hi DJD120GXL, the rims are made by King and are made of steel. They go well. Very happy so far. I bought them because I wanted a stronger wheel and heard the steelies where much stronger than alloy. Not sure what you would expect to pay new as I scored 5 of these with tyres secondhand in gumtree. Alloy would be a bit lighter and more expensive but steel is stronger. Hope this helps.

        Cheers

        • Stuck some dynamat extreme to the two front doors in preparation for the stereo install over the weekend. Will do the rears if I can ever be bothered...

          • Did the tint on the back doors and rear and also put on PP sticker

Now just to fit my drawers and fridge slide (this has taken over 5 weeks to do).

Swapped out the rear shocks, the billies were great, but after 80k they were leaking a lot of oil. I'll see how the tough dogs go, at $145 a side pretty hard to go wrong.

Yeah I had real trouble seeing it myself. Maybe he can get one of those dent removal guys to fix it.
Also where's the story about the dents?

                    • Ran a circuit (plus a spare) from the engine bay to the jack compartment to eventually supply the ESC on the soon to be delivered Expanda.

                        • 1. Sorry about the quality of the pics. iOS image editors aren't the best and it probably lowered the quality of my photos too. IRL, the dent above the fuel filler door is pretty easy to see in the side mirror. The others are pretty small though.
                          2. So far, the car has never been off-road like other 120s that's only done the school run. Hopefully when I inherit the car I could use it the way it was made for. One day it won't be "too clean" anymore
                          3. No story. I only recently just found them on my car so I've got no idea where they came from

                          • Finally got my compressor mounted up on the dual battery tray. Chucked another anderson plug in also so it can be portable still if required.

Frees up some space in rear draws now

The exact compressor I had, sat it in the same spot, was going to do that, nice job, i decided to do this instead.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE ARB compressor, wouldn't have a fouby4 without it!
I thought my old 150ltr a minute was faster, as this s 68, but no, Arb must be quoting real figures
I did win the ARB compressor at the GTG this year, but downsized to this one, the other one was going to be too tight fit.

                              • Nice mate.

The rydge Ryder just fits with a few mm to spare, had to double up rubber feet and ditch bottom plate. Only Downside after topping up tyres is it gets very hot with motor running , trying to unhook hose was a bit uncomfortable .lol. Will see how it goes anyway, still have the option to go back to portable btw they are a great compressor , hasn't missed a beat on our oz trip
