You guys have rattle guns? I'd probably rotate my tyres more if I did.

Yeah, I bought a cheap compressor from SCA and the first accessory was the rattle gun. Rotating the tyres has gone from an hour ordeal to about 35 - 40 minutes.

        • Bought some more lights today. Will go under the platform on the rear. Will replace the two bigger square ones I currently have there and will be bolted straight to it instead of using the pioneer brackets.
Hopefully have time to fit em tomorrow.

            • BM are they the 6" units from Sun-Yee? We have them on the back of everything including the trailer. Great value.

Have a cordless impact gun and it is very very useful!

              • I'm not sure. I bought em off a guy on FB. They are 6" though so probably. So many people sell lights these days.

                • Finally testing the fit of the new Ram Mount iPad cradle I bought two weeks ago. I have two bases for it so just unscrew it from the Hiace and put it in the Prado 👍 seems pretty rock steady but will need a test on the tracks.

                  • Collected my replacement auxiliary battery tray. Got to replace the old one as it has rusted through at the folds. Only noticed it after I replaced my batteries with Optimas. I'm not sure if it was just pooling water or battery fluid that created the corrosion. Shouldn't be a problem with the sealed Optimas.

                    • Got my OME lift installed today. No more nose diving under brakes and the car handles a lot better. Can't wait to try it on the tracks. I'm definitely a happy camper

                        • Cheers Matt. Get to test it out around station creek next week so I'm sure I'll really notice the difference then.

                          • Started getting the car ready for Fraser today. Roof racks / basket / treds on board. Recovery gear going in. Got a 2" dobinsons lift installed a couple of weeks ago incl new airbag man airbags and I'm looking forward to seeing the difference that makes on the island, I've heard the tracks are a bit rough at the moment.

10 day holiday coming up, can't wait!

                            • Well, Christmas almost here and tax refund arrived. Hmm, what do I need for the Prado? Check the "want" and "need" lists. Not much left on either. Got that, got that, got two of them, got that, got that. Ah ha, Lokka rear diff locker - I 'll have that Santa, thank you very much.
