I'm 99% happy Raven.
The only issue I have noticed is the drivers side wing is about 8mm outside the lines of the car and the passenger side is about 2mm outside the lines of the car. Would prefer them to be even but I'll see if te bar needs to 'settle' or anything.
The gap is no more than when the powerful bar was on. Only difference is the old bar used pinch weld to hide the gap.
I'll reassess the suspension and general fit of everything once I have the steel bar fitted on the rear in Feb next year.
When I get a chance I plan on flexing the front up to see what the gap does.

Excessive weight causing the bullbar to hit my tyres...
I don't know if it's bad design, or a combination of lots of accessories over the front end but on compression the old bars wings hit my tyres and was doing damage to them.
I have bullbar, winch, dual batteries, (soon to install compressor) etc etc... over the front suspension and even with the billies at their highest setting it still hit.
Also, the opportunity presented its self for a contra deal to replace the bar so I took it.

I should add that it could easily be fixed with a small amount of the wings being cut off to improve the clearance but the TJM bar also allowed the TJM Ox winch to be mounted inside the bar as it was designed to be.

Finally got some bits n pieces added to the prado over the last few days. BFG A/T's, fitted up an ARB deluxe bullbar and a pair of Lightforce 240s today, can't even tell it's the same car I'm rapt!
One question though. The only part of the bar I havnt fitted now are the side bash plates, are there supposed to be captive nuts for them to bolt to as I can not for the life of me work out how to fit them because I can't get in behind the bar anymore. I bought the bar second hand so not sure if I'm missing nuts? I don't want to pull the fog lights out again, maybe I have to pull the whole inner guard out? Any help would be much appreciated!

The side plates are nut & bolt only . You can reach up from behind to start all the nuts and weight of the plate will help them grab. Only captive nuts on the front radiator plate.

What I tried is using a 13mm ring end wrench and fishing through the top of the bar and trying to get a hold of the but and using another 13mm on the bolt to tighten it. Gets harder as you go around the side. The bottom 17mm silver bolt is a bit easier with pretty much the same method but underneath the plate. Hope this helps.[B]CANYONEROOOOO *whipping in the distance*

Cleaned out and reorganised the drawers and got rid of stuff not required on a daily basis. Removed stuff in boxes to the camper where it belongs. Must have saved me about 30 kgs. Also tidied up the camper ready for a sojourn next week for 9 days to South Coast on NSW.Terry

Um, took out my dahsboard, took some pictures, removed Park Distance Control that was bust, checked from some Aircon leaks under the dash, re-installed everything, explained to my wife that it was really time well spent and that I still love her.2005 Prado VX 4.0 V6 White with some scrathes and dents and water damage and cracked bumpers and skewed nudge bar and scored roof and bent rock sliders and scratched underside and scew and bent exhaust and a whole heap of joy and fun. Not today but yesterday fitted up the sandgrabba mats I got for Xmas then laughed at my brother-in-law while he fitted the hilux washers and bosch blades he got from me to his prado. Bull at a gate comes to mind. Then to finish off the day installed the reverse camera, screen and sheepskin seat covers the old man got for his 95 series. Santa was good to the prados this year[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
The road less travelled is definitely the best road to be on
