  • It was quite easy to do. The cooler is a Davies Craig 678.
It was $139 from Supercheap. Keep an eye out as they have specials all the time.
Also keep an eye on Tin as he is making a bracket for it that will suit the 120 soon.
Which will make the install easy as pie.
All you will need then is a 3/8 brass joiner and an extra 1m length of hose to be safe, and a litre or so of T-IV tranny fluid.

                • Installed 2 USB blank plates into the front of the Prado. Powered them off the 12V wires for the accessory socket next to them. They fit great and work great. Only 2.1Amp across both ports but fine for 4 phones (or 2 phones and 1 tablet when we're away). I also ran 2 3 meter Apple Lightning cables to the rear tucked under the center console for the kids to play and charge at the same time (and keep the quiet in the car on those long trips (i.e. anything over 10mins for the 6yo haha)).

                  • Fitted up some sliders from a certain AJ120 fellow, you guys probably never heard of him but he does bloody good work highly recommended.

Took em out for a run as well but they scared all the rocks away...

                    • Yesterday 4pm. Got my baby back from the panel beaters. At Last. Been gone since 2 Jan when the wheel fell off.

All up, I think it was about $8000 worth of repairs. Good thing insurance covered it.

Now just to check all the other wheel studs to make sure it does not happen again.

                      • Gave it a wash ready for a trip to the big smoke this weekend. I am a bit concerned how it will go, 5-600kms and none of it dirt, not sure if the old girl will be able to handle that

                        Cheers Andrew

I was going to comment on how your missus could possibly knock those switches with her knees, but decided against saying anything that could be miss-interpreted. Keep her in the passenger seat mate - it's easier and safer. (But there, I did anyway).

                              • Ha ha it's much better on my sanity with her in the passenger seat yes. But occasionally I like to be the one that has a few drinks so I have to get her to drive.
