Hi guys,
I have 06 1kz with 190 ks on the clock, just been on our first trip with the caravan in tow got a Corommal offroad 17 foot 6 ,loaded just over the 2 ton i suppose ,maybe a bit more Prado went quite well when it got going but with the 3 speed +d auto box i could do with the extra gear at times,In D doing 90 at about 2000 rpm or in 3 rd doing 90 at about 2600 ,really struggled on some hills ,( went to Exmouth and back to Perth several stops on the way bit of offload and nice caravan parks ) fuel economy was about 19 lts per 100 ks,
Question is engine is standard and would like a bit more power (once going it would run away if you didn't watch it ) not to keen on putting a chip in , would like a bit better economy to I suppose, wouldn't we all , appreciate any info ,cheers boys.
