My Prado 2005vx RPM meter got damage Dynatrade-dubai replaced the whole dashboard assembly now my ODO meter is now "0" they dont want to put in the previous meter reading I ask them why they said they just dont do it coz it will void the warranty. i asked one the tech guy who replaced my meter he advised me not to do it or there is some shop who can read and transfer the readings is its advisable to do it?.Any advised?

maybe just keep the old mileage handy if needed down the track.
me personally. good and bad points on doing it.

.. or keep the documentation from the dash replacement .... along with the certified old odometer reading .... in the service booklet.
That way everything is kept above board and legal and you don't have to muck around with changing the new odometer reading.
