You can put an ebay snorkel on a car that you also bought from ebay. Then everything will match.

I think fitting the liners is well worth it. Been through some slush at speed with one of mine missing and goo goes everywhere.

Plenty of people make new liners out of insertion rubber, you could do that for well under $200.
As for an $80 eBay snorkel, you ever heard that you get what you pay for? I would rather a quality brand and peace of mind.
Cheers Andrew

Hi, I know this subject has been tackled already but I still have a few questions.
I've read the lcool article about possible water damage caused by factory install of bullbar, where they cut the inner splash guards. Link is here: http://www.lcool.org/technical/120_s...ingestion.html
I have a few questions , here's the situation;
Inner liners are completely missing now. (Bought the car that way).
New inner liners $200 Delivered.
Snorkel $60-$500 depending on brand.
Petrol engine.
Do I buy and fit a snorkel?
If so do I still need liners or can I go without? What are the risks?
If a snorkell, any major issues with the cheap eBay $80 versions?
Thanks
