best place to buy 120 prado master window switch

Hey guys, my 04 prado has called it quits with 2 buttons on the master window switch so I need a replacement. Any idea where to buy one that is not crazily priced. There are only 2 on eBay now and both second hand and they want good coin so thought I would ask here first. I dont care if it is genuine or not just want it to work.

I take it that it is the switch being buggered and not just the problem associated with disconnecting the battery and the windows can't be controlled via drivers controls!

Cheers rags, yes it is the switch mate. Both drivers side window and rear right windows do not go up anymore, they go down but not up. You can feel the switch isn't clicking in properly. have pulled them apart but think its just stuffed.

It would be good to know how you go, I need to replace also. Have tried the the fix used after battery disconnected, however they remain temperamental esp going up.

On my 120 had same issue, being an ex. Electronics tech pulled it apart and found it not the switch that dies but under each of the plastic switch caps are some plastic levers which wear down or break off, thus switch cap doesn't make contact with the circuit mounted switch. That being said couldn't work out a way to fix the switch cap and no where I could find sells just the switch caps. Bought a 2nd hand assembly, but as it was the 2 front doors simply swapped the switch caps around till I got the new assembly.

I've recently replaced mine ( Grande but still the same) got it for $50 plus postage (score).
It he rear drivers switch was crook on my old one. You can have it for $20 for parts if it helps...

That is a good score, my front drivers one and rear drivers side both go down but not up. It is exactly like ant power said the plastic underneath is broker. I can shove a screwdriver or key in and force it to go up, I haven't bought one yet as wreckers all want about $295 so keeping my eye out for a bargain like you did, where did you get it?
