  • Injectors

    Hey there ,
I'm new to the forum scene and don't really have an idea how this all works but I'll give this a bash, I have purchased a 2007 120 Prado with the D4D in it and had the recall done on the injector nozzle seals, Toyota informed me that injectors above cylinders 3&4 are out of spec and quoted $1800 to replace these 2 injectors. I believe I have enough skills to do this myself but just wondering what injectors people have been putting in there 1KDFTV engines as I don't want to put the same type of injectors in again.
    Cheers in advance

I would be looking at replacing all 4. Injectors from Bailey's Diesel group seem to work well at a reasonable price.

Check out this thread if you have a bit of time.

Once you've sourced your injectors, there are a few options, and if you are handy enough the Bailey's site has a reasonable set of instructions to follow.
