  • Lift kit 2004 GXL LPG tank clearance

Newbie here so likely to balls this up somehow (don't even use faceassbook). Anyway mid build and ready to lift but getting confused reading all the various advices on this topic. A unique factor we need to consider before leaping in is our LPG tank (dual fuel) which is copping a pounding! Is there anyone who can cut to the chase with good advice for best clearance in this situation? On wish list is 32 or 33in boots.
Build so far incl MCC front bar, LED spots, 12000lb winch, steel roof cage, most important feature lambs wool seat covers and Oricom UHF380 in a minute.

To gain clearance for the LPG tank, you will need a suspension lift, bigger tyres or a combination of both. It depends whether you want to stay legal or go big enough to warrant an engineer's certificate.

Thanks amts yeah I'm convinced a combination of both will be necessary. Due to the awkward positioning of the tank my main concern is spending hard earned money on 2" lift but still bashing the tank around... Where it gets more confusing is hearing things like stress on CV's & ball joints on higher lifts. Ideally I was hoping to hear from others with 2" lift who also have LPG. If they say clearance is fine then it will give some peace of mind about getting 2" lift only and putting money into other fun bits. Btw two blokes so far have suggested Tough Dog gear. Do you know much about them?
