IMO service costs are about the same.
They all have:
Oil
Oil filters.
Front diff
Rear diff
Transfer
Transmission
Brake fluid
Air filters
Coolant
Wiper rubbers
Globes
Fuel filters
Driveshafts & grease
Water pumps that leak
Brakes
Their fair share of problems - minimal &/or avoidable on both.
One has a Timing belt which is cheap n easy
The other has spark plugs which roughly offsets each other.
Sure I missed something but you get the drift.......
V6 owners dont get cut up, I'm not hanging it on the petrol, it's a great engine & it's certainly better suited to many owners.
