120 Series Service Logbook document

Hi all,

In a nutshell I am looking for a Scheduled Service list file/ document( am sure I saw one floating around in cyber land a year or so ago and didn't save it, DUH) that would provide the task lists that would be written on the tear out pages of an empty/ new log book.(not sure if I am explaining this right).lol

I am trying to work out what has and has not been done to my rig (November 2009 GXL D4D Auto), in the way of servicing and maintenance, before I purchased it(182,000 Kms at the time). Looking at the log book , all there are is the stubs of each service without the info on what has been done. Eg timing belt.

I have contacted the Toyota dealer that did the services prior to me owning the vehicle with little success. I know there are parts commonly replaced that are outside the "scheduled service / maintenance" field like injectors, fuel/water pumps, hoses etc that would not be referenced in the log book and I suppose I would have no way of knowing if any have been replaced, but just knowing what has been done at all would be handy.
Toyota did mention something vague about a silver sticker on the pillar/ door trim on the drivers side.

I hope this post makes SOME sense and any help would be highly appreciated. Yes, I did a search and used google with PP included in the searches with no joy.

Can't help with the log/service book info unfortunately, but the silver stickers in the drivers door area show what recall/customer service exercises (ie tow kit issues) have been completed.

Thanks JGD. I picked up on the tow recall. Rang Toyota yesterday with the VIN and they told me there were no other recalls for my rig. Cheers

Those stickers are supposed to be fitted when the vehicle has undergone a recall. But don't rely on the presence of a sticker. I have one sticker but the car has been subject to 2 or 3 recalls.

So this is what I have worked out so far.

The VIN on my receipt of purchase was WRONG. Got the correct VIN on a new receipt. I knew the numbers were wrong when I bought the car and asked them to fix the issue but they apparently still stuffed it up.
The dealer helped me with the correct VIN supplied.

The car had normal up to date services until between 140K and 150 K( the timing belt was done!!) where somebody tried to jump the car and blew a fuse-able link out, then 3K later the Steering Rack was replaced. All services written in the log book match the data at the dealer. Thanks to Jess at Black Toyota Chinchilla. And much thanks again to OldGreyFart for supplying the full service schedule file.Champion. I KNEW I saw it ages ago somewhere!!!

So full car history in a bag. Bewdy.
