  • Finding a squeak

    Hi guys,

I hope some one can give me some places to check out while looking for a squeak.

After a recent trip I noticed a squeak coming from behind my prado. I tied spraying silicon spray on all the bushes at the back but the squeak is still there.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Hi Spikestar
Check out your exhaust system mounting rubbers, the type of figure 8 jiggers that hang the pipe, muffler and resi of the body/chassis.
Found a couple of ours squeaking while greasing the Uni joints today.
    Cheers
    Troy

Very common on 120 is the rear door. Where the hinge is.

Rear door catch has also been the culprit of some squeaks..
