speedo led replacement

Hi all
My 2003 grande has a dim speedo at the 30ks section so presume that the led has gone. Just wondered if anyone has replaced one? Been told they are soldered onto the board. Thanks. Jon

Are they LED or globe? Ive never paid any attention when mine was out..
