Hi everyone, new guy to this site,just bought a 2008 gxl prado it as been used to towing a caravan it as heavy duty shocks and air bags
fitted,feels a little firmer ride, would like to soften it up as I will not be towing with it,what shockies do you think I should put in,

I've got medium duty Old Man Emu with airbags. Best of both worlds. Its not too hard around town and I can pump up the air bags when I need to for heavier loads eg going camping with the family

Might be a dumb qiuestion but have you dropped the air out of the bags down to about 5psi ??

Might help if you can tell us what shocks and springs you have.

Suggest you go to Toyota, and get factory shocks fitted.

I have a set of 2nd hand factory springs+shocks (done only 40k kms) - could swap you for the rear airbags depending on what they are?
