    Driverīs seat height adjustment

    Hello
    Iīm having a problem with my manual height adjustment for the driver seat in my 120 Prado. It always "leaks" down after a while to the lowest position after I have set it in the highest. Do you know this problem in your Prados?

    No adjustable seat here in my GXL .

      Seat Height Adjstment (manual version)

      Strahan Mate

      Check the Latch , usually when you set a height ; there is a latch that moves up/down a spiral coil (like rotating an office chair -but with a lever-)

      This can be over lubricated and it slips or the latch's "teeth" had worn out

        Grande is motorised, not latch or lever operated.

              Icelandic folk do the craziest mods to their fourby's!

              Look at those tyres!

              The Icelandics were responsible for the modded Hilux the Top Gear Team drove to the North Pole.

                  Checked out your pics, great to have a member from up right up north Strewth you guys have got some serious Mods great stuff, sorry I can't help with your seat issue though.

                              Mine is manual

                              Team Piggy Mate

                              I know that Grande comes with electric height adjustments for both front seats ,

                              however in certain models that comes to Dubai -like my VX-

                              I have all the controls that grande offers in in manual -in my seat only-, 1- Seat position, 2- Seat cushion angle front (knob type) , 3- Seat cusion angle at back (this is height adjustment) & 5- The only electric control for Lumbar support

                              The passenger side seat has position adjustment (forward/backward) + Seat angle adjustments

                              Sorry for any confusion made

                              Again as these are Lever type I guess that "Sigurgeir" prado is like mine in terms of seat configuration

                              I still say check the lever or the notch that travels across the mechanism
