Vehicle Checks - Prado / 4WD specific

Hi,

I have just found this forum and have had many lat enights reading

I am looking at purchasing a 2005 Grande and I know nothing about 4WD's. Does someone in melbourne (SE Suburbs) offer an RAVC style service to check the car over?

I have used an independant company before to check a normal car, will they do the same for a 4WD?
