Gidday Hoppy

Artarmon AND Brookvale - you must have definitely been a WOB man

The 80's were the halcyon days of the automotive glass industry weren't they?.

I was at Aust. Autoglass (sheltered workshop). I had a lot of dealings with Mad-Dog (Peter Murdoch) at WOB's Padstow. Small world eh?

Funny how things change.... You in TV and me in aviation.. I always wanted to get behind the camera (lived near the old CH10 and not far from the Film & TV School when it was in Nth Ryde.....
I remember when sex was safe, and flying was dangerous!

Havent looked back really. I have done a few rubber windsreen replacements for friends. Impressing them with me pushing the windscreen out in one piece with my feet!!

But much prefer the TV business I think. Even got to go out with the guys from 4X4 monthly for a trip across the simpson last year doing one of there videos.

Sounds like it would have been an absolute riot. Is Roothy really as mad as a cut snake?

Roothy is a top bloke. He did all the cooking on the trip. Milo was a kitchen on wheels with a tent strapped to the roof !! Must admit the guts would rumble most of the night after eating dinner though.

Milo really kicked ass in the Simpson with the ARB airlockers in use for some of the more difficult dunes. The only down side was that there was more dust inside Milo than outside.
