I am after some advice regarding the A/C fan controls. Overnight the 2 lower fan speeds have stopped working only leaving the 3rd and 4th settings available. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what may have gone wrong. I am not sure if it is electrical or perhaps some form of linkages/connections in the unit. thanks

If the blower motor works at any fan speed then depending on your Vehicle Model and A/C system Auto/Manual if a manual system it is most likley the Blower resistor which is located in the A/C plenum if it is an AUTO AC system then it could be the motor speed controller or AC ECU or as Team Piggy has explained a loose connector/ wire.
I have had a few blower resistor failures but they have been easy to access in previous vehicles, the manual has the blower resistor/ motor speed control (depending which type fitted to your vehicle) located adjacent and under the blower motor housing but it looks like a fair bit of work to access and remove the blower assy located behind your glove compartment removal of the resistor or controller is simple enough. .07 Upgrade GXL D4D, Manual, Dune,Sov Bar, BFG's, SG11, Redark dual Batts, Extensive Aux wiring, Stebel, LED stop tails, IPF HID's (my mod), 240V Inv, ARB Comp, GME UHF,TPMS, Safari snorkel, GPS,Hilux washers, 40l Engel in 30% pas pos, homemade A/C cond protection plate, polyairs.

Re: A/C Fan not working
If it's a GXL with manual aircon (Not climate control) then the dropping resistor for the fan/blower motor is attached to the outside of the blower fan housing. Passenger side, front, under the cabin filter. Not to hard to get at. Easy to test with a multi meter.
